Jesse Kincaid teaches piano, guitar, violin, bass, voice, trumpet
and saxophone in Mill Valley Schools and privately. He attended
California Institute of the Arts on a classical guitar scholorship.
He is a member of California and Marin Music Teachers Association
and California Old Time Fiddlers Association.
Beginning and intermediate students are offered a private piano
lesson in which they are introduced to reading the grand staff,
interval recognition, and chords, playing favorite classic, folk
and jazz melodies. Students are free to advance at their own speed,
developing the ability to read music while establishing a sound
piano technique and, of course, having fun!
Students are offered a private lesson in which they are acquainted
with the guitar, learning to produce sound both with pick and fingers.
Good technique is established playing notes and chords with favorite
popular, folk, and jazz melodies. Includes reading the treble staff,
scale, interval, and harmonic recognition, and improvisation. Students
are encouraged to bring in CDs of their favorite songs for study!

Students are offered a private lesson in which they are introduced
to solfeggio, music reading, scale and interval recognition, and
the technique of vocal sound production. Students are encouraged
to choose contemporary material that interests them.
